General Notes

The deployment documentation should help you to get jwma running on your site. It will cover the requisites and link to documents describing actual deployment on a specific product/platform (when existant).

Pre-Requisites

One of the available distributions (Note: using the WAR is highly recommended)
A running IMAP server
A Java 2 Runtime Environment (>=1.2)

Deployment Platforms

jwma should be running in any servlet container that is implementing the 2.2(and higher) JSDK specification. The following documents describe standalone deployments with free and commercial products:

jwma was also reported to run on:

IBM's WebSphere

However, there is no description about how to achieve this so far.
Furthermore, jwma should be deployable on JServ (but I do really recommend to switch the container) and on non-standalone configurations (paired with a web server like Apache). There are simply too much possibilities to cover it all, I suggest to keep close to the most likely available documentation for running your container in non-standalone mode.
